MAY 18th - MAY 24th
We currently serve over 1,400 households (4,590 people) Heart of the Hamptons' programs provide access to a Food Pantry and Assistance Programs. Our organization helps the people in our local community who are in need, without discrimination, in a dignified manner.
Our pantry is supported by a number of generous donations from local businesses, civic groups, community food drives and private donations. Local businesses including Tate’s Bake Shop, Goldbergs Bagels, Peconic Prime Meats and North Sea Farms donate bread, bagels and cookies. Local Civic organizations including Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, the Southampton Village Police Benevolent Association, Southampton Montessori School, The Children’s School, Our Lady of the Hamptons School and the Southampton Rotary Club conduct annual food drives that bring us hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food. The Assistance Program provides a network of services for those in need in our community, including seniors, adults, children and veterans. We provide guidance, advocacy and a helping hand, always with dignity and respect for personal privacy. Emergency funding is provided for rental assistance, utilities, gasoline, medical needs, job loss, accidents and other catastrophes. Help for seniors and the homebound, and school supplies for children are also provided
